Awesome Kids
Our Awesome Kids meet on Sunday mornings, and begin by joining the rest of the congregation for family-friendly worship. The first part of our service includes a children's song, a story or drama and a children's prayer, led by one of our Awesome Kids.
Our children then go out to our own 'kids space' for around 30 minutes, where two Awesome Leaders run a children's programme, exploring stories and themes from the Bible in a fun and creative way, bringing the message of God in a way that's relevant and meaningful to the children:
"Jesus loves me. Jesus will be my friend forever."
Activities range from games to making something crafty to take home or creating a masterpiece for our Chapel Street Art Gallery. The children re-join the congregation for the last part of the service and share what they have been doing. Our children are welcomed, celebrated and nurtured and their participation in the life and worship of our parish is highly valued and encouraged.
